Define device custody, charging, cable management, staff resets, spares, and secure storage before the floor opens.

Give demonstrations, press moments, and partner appointments distinct acoustic, staffing, and circulation plans.
CES is the most visually saturated show floor in the world. Every exhibitor has LED, every exhibitor has motion, and the practical consequence is that adding brightness buys you nothing.
What reads at CES is hierarchy. One statement carried at height that resolves from two hundred feet across a hall, then progressive detail as a visitor closes distance, then a place to have a real conversation when they arrive. Booths that put dense copy on a back wall disappear here in a way they would not at a smaller show.
The audience compounds the problem, because it is not one audience. Retail buyers, OEM partners, press, investors and technical evaluators all walk the same aisle wanting completely different things. The exhibits that perform have separate space for each — open demonstration at the aisle, semi-private area for partner conversations, and a genuinely closed room for anything involving numbers.
We build CES exhibits with that layering designed in, plus the engineering that gets overlooked: power distribution planned per device, cable management designed rather than improvised, charging for demo hardware, and network provisioning ordered in advance because show-floor internet is expensive and slow to arrange late.

Vertical-specific questions
Answers stay tied to planning and operations; project, venue, legal, regulatory, and product owners control final requirements.
Base the count on expected visitor volume, demonstration length, product-reset time, staff availability, accessibility, queue capacity, power and network needs, and secure storage—not footprint alone.
Define custody, staffed access, tethering or enclosure needs, charging, overnight handling, spares, reset procedures, secure storage, and the response path for a missing or failed device before opening.
Test each device, screen, input, content source, cable, charger, network path, lighting scene, lead-capture flow, reset process, and backup method under the same operating assumptions the staff will use.
They can when circulation, acoustics, sightlines, confidentiality, staffing, scheduling, and recording needs support it. A dedicated zone is safer when press activity would interrupt public demos or expose unreleased information.
